It looks like the 2013-14 season will not be a complete bust for a live performance of a Pettersson Symphony, save for the performances of Symphony No. 4 and 16 in Norrköping. I am pleased to announce that the Staatskapelle Weimar under the direction of Stefan Solyom will be performing the Symphony No. 7 (you guessed it!) on 16 and 17 March 2014. Also on the program will be Lidholm's haunting Kontakion, so a great all-around program.
