It appears that the year 2013 will be a good year for Pettersson in Finland, of all places. In addition to performances of the Concerto for Violin and String Quartet and Seven Sonatas, I just read today that the Tapiola Sinfonietta, an excellent full-time chamber orchestra based western Helsinki (with an amazing string section too), will be performing the Concerto No. 1 for String Orchestra on 15 November, Jan Söderblom conducting. Söderblom conducted the Symphony No. 7 in Tampere in 2008, so this guy knows his Pettersson.
